Thanks, I've already tried that one. Unfortunately, it is too small and not proportioned well. Fingers crossed that Citizen will release a 40mm model inbetween this small size and the big 44mm, as it would fit my requirements perfectly. 🤞
I'd always prefer solar quartz movements like the Eco-Drive from Citizen to an automatic or manual movement. Only once one starts reaching the elabourate, gorgeous finishing of ALS and others an automatic or manual movement would be appealing to me but that is strictly due to its looks. The solar quartz is obviously superior in terms of timekeeping.
Imagine a well finished luxury watch e.g. Cartier Santos. If you were to replace its automatic "inhouse movement" with a solar quartz it not only would be technically superior but also far cheaper.
That it why up until now I have only bought solar quartz watches (also they do not run out of power after a few days, which is handy for a bigger collection).
