Citizen solar field watch in 37mm on my 16.5 cm wrist

Just had that model arriving yesterday, a used one. I noticed that the quickset function for the day wheel was not working properly on mine - not a huge issue as you really only need to set the day once on a solar. Wondering though: is that function working well on yours?
