Mesh Bracelet for Seamaster 1948

I’m thinking of ordering a mesh bracelet for my Seamaster 1948…yay or nay?

Yes go for it

I think the mesh bracelet is an outstanding compliment to the watch, in fact a visual, even tactile upgrade to bracelets on several models in their catalogue, highly personal opinion of course. My Omega ad researched the steel iteration for me at 1k cad plus 13% HST no courtesy discounts. I cannot rationalize the expense, prefer the disposable loot be applied to a next watch hopefully with a strap/bracelet that requires no alterations.

That’s a good one! I might suggest buying a cheap $20 mesh strap first however. That’s a very low investment for 90% of the return.

The combo looks beautiful!

·

Yeah that's awesome. Gonna be nice and breathable too.

·

Absolutely! Most comfortable bracelets out there.

Looks good on the mesh! Be very careful about going cheap though, as I found that a lot of the clasps on the cheaper milanese/mesh bracelets don't lock securely. The last thing you want is for it to get unclasped when you least expect and have your watch come crashing to the pavement.

Thanks to the overwhelming response and affirmation received, I have placed an order for the Omega mesh bracelet. :) Have to wait 8-12 weeks though. :/
