Review of watch number 2

Watch number 2 of the 3. The reviews of watches that we all love to hate. The Vincero Kairos is a fairly decent watch. I bought this to see what it was all about. I bought it used for $25 USD. If I were to go online to buy it, it was on sale for $136 USD at the time I researched it.

The watch first of all has some nice weight to it. It feels more solid than the Seiko Chronograph I recently purchased. I bought this because of the nice looking blue dial and mesh bracelet. I figured that I could use the nice looking bracelet on something else.

The case has a nice shape with clean lines. With 22mm lugs a strap or bracelet can be swapped out. It has a screwdown caseback with a piece of "Historic" Italian marble under a mineral crystal display. I don't know why they consider the marble historic. I didn't find any reasoning why in my research. Written on the caseback are the words VENI. VIDI. VICI. Live Your Legacy. The Water resistance I believe would be good enough to wash your hands and maybe in a swimming pool.

It has a nice blue dial with a date window at the 3 o'clock position. The blue dial changes colors in different lighting. The baton hands have lume on them aiding people to see them.

The bracelet is a mesh bracelet with quick release springbars. It has a nice finish and is thick and solid. It doesn't have a cheap feel. The clasp is made of a pressed metal but is a more heavy duty metal. It clasps securely with no play or movement in it.

The movement is a Seiko movement. The cheaper of Seiko movements but runs accurate to the indices. I always thought of this movement a good little movement better than the Miyota.

Overall I think this is a decent watch. Maybe an $80 watch but nothing over $100.

Curious what strap you got to go on that Spaghetti Scameti. I removed the bracelet from mine and have had a heck of a time (and injuries!) trying to put the bracelet back on.

Nevermind, I just saw your other post mentioning this very thing. Thanks for the details! :)

$25 is OK

Crown is oddly thick but otherwise falls into that category of watches that suffers only from being inordinately large. The proportions and vast emptiness of the dial scream unnecessarily big without any further context needed.

I'm glad it is a solid case back even if I don't understand why they engraved it with a Caesar quote. I suspect they read it on the seal on the Marlboro pack.

I forgot to put the picture of the back in. I just edited and did. I couldn't put it where I wanted it though.

Well, everything back there is a bit goofy except for the slick way they turned the case back tool slots into a styling element. Still better than a display case back, and who looks back there anyway.

Wait, wait, is that shape the actual silhouette of the case back? Does it not cover a full circular area of the back? Are the slots all the way through? Or am I misreading photo lighting?

I'm not sure of what you're asking. The caseback covers the whole area of the back. In the center of the back a piece of marble is inset into the back then covered under a crystal lens. On the inside of the caseback it is completely solid. I think it's a unique design.
