Mess of watches
I see posts about people not having enough room in their watch cases. I have the same problem. I came up with a solution that would make Martha Stewart proud. I cut some heavy duty cardboard rolls to the length of these plastic baskets. The baskets have a little ledge inside that the rolls sit on. I put the watches on the rolls. I use pieces of the roll to shim under the clasp when the band is loose. Fill the roll up with watches and set it in the basket. Works perfectly. Maybe this will help some of you other watch hoarders, I mean collectors.

I have been collecting watches for a while now. I have so many watches that I wear a different one every day. Cheap to expensive, if I like how it looks I wear it.

I have a 15 slot watchbox, so 16 is my max. I can't leave my watches just lying around nor could I have them situated like that.
I can appreciate why you’re trying to do and the makeshift solution is better than no organization.
While I’ve yet to buy a luxury solution (think $20k+), I do feel that the box should mirror the collection. Two to three hundred dollars gets a pretty decent box. Heck, even cheap Chinese ones on Amazon are better than nothing or leaving them disorganized.
So to get at a watch one must remove a complete tube?
I've always liked this one but default to the 18 slot Case Club.
Nice. Wish I had some drawers to do that with.
