Longines Spirit 42mm 2023 Most Worn Watch
Happy New Year everyone! I hope all of you have had some reflections of 2023. Hopefully it will be a hopeful and healthy 2024 for you. I just wanted to share my most worn watch of 2023 and a little bit of why.
The Longines Spirit 42mm Pilot has been my go to this past year. Unofficially my “Go Anywhere Do Anything” watch. I wear it at work. My girlfriend likes it when I wear it when we go out. And it’s a comfortable watch that has a soft but durable leather strap.
But the dial is everything to me. The movement is relatively reliable. I never have issues about its below average power reserve. But the star of this watch is the dial. There is no display caseback and the depth is fairly shallow. That’s probably why the power reserve is low.
The dial is everything. The airplane propeller style hands and the red tipped second hand is easy to view right away. It’s a classic look.
