Thanks! I wonder if Seiko would care that I removed the cyclops🤔. I think I’ll just set the time often and not worry about it. I enjoy fiddling with my watches anyway.

I might adopt your routine and not worry about losing 20 seconds a day 👍🏼.

My new Seiko GMT is running about 15-20 seconds per day slow. I’ve never had a watch regulated , about how much does it cost? Can anyone recommend a good watchmaker?

Edit…I don’t mind when it’s fast, but slow bothers me

Very nice! I have the black one and it’s great.

I used a soldering iron, not a flame to heat the cyclops. I added a small amount of solder to the tip of the soldering iron in order to transfer the heat more efficiently to the cyclops. I heated the cyclops for maybe 8 or 10 seconds. Then I took a sharp chisel and small hammer to pop the cyclops off. It was very easy, only taking a very light tap. The chisel and small hammer is the way to go because with a knife, you have more chance of slipping and scratching the bezel or cutting yourself.

I used my thumbnail to remove the left over adhesive.
