How did you take it off? or did you replace the crystal?

I used a soldering iron, not a flame to heat the cyclops. I added a small amount of solder to the tip of the soldering iron in order to transfer the heat more efficiently to the cyclops. I heated the cyclops for maybe 8 or 10 seconds. Then I took a sharp chisel and small hammer to pop the cyclops off. It was very easy, only taking a very light tap. The chisel and small hammer is the way to go because with a knife, you have more chance of slipping and scratching the bezel or cutting yourself.

I used my thumbnail to remove the left over adhesive.

Thanks!! I might buy one of these but the cyclops really throws me off, it's good to know there's a way to get it off by yourself
