Beater off to the PH!
This 2009 vintage "Beater" will be my companion as we head off to the Philippines tomorrow! We had a great adventure there in 2018 and she never missed a tic! Though she may not be much to look at, she is dead reliable and as tuff as nails! 😎
I toast one to you my fellow Crunchers as I sip a cold "Red Horse" under a coconut tree! 😀

Am back now from a truly AWESOME vay-kay in the PH. What a time! Saw some nice watches in a couple of the SM Malls in Manila and Cabanatuan City ... models not available here in North Am. Didn't pick up anything however. Also did not come across any second-hand dealers like I'd hoped?
Saw a unique Filipino brand at the "Kultura" shop called Ibarra ... apparently former Prez Duterte wears one. Retail is about 16.5K Pesos. Have to do more research into that brand.
My trusty old Timex stood up to a PH journey yet again and is still ticking away!
