My first “real” watch was a Yema Rallygraf. I’m only about 18 months into this watch journey, but my collection has grown and all my fashion brands have been replaced with “real” watches. But I was considering my evolution in taste, and knowing how much love chronographs get in this community, is it actually ok to… not like them?

Of course it's ok. We all have our preferences. Don't let anyone tell you what you need, or what to like, or what a "real" watch is. Have fun and only buy and wear what you like.
Don't ask for permission to feel a certain way!
I don’t particularly like chronographs. Which is weird (and hypocritical) since I’ve been wearing an Omega Speedmaster every day for the last 8 months.
Go figure.
It's totally fine. I have no affinity for divers, field or flieger style. It's pointless in trying to tick all the boxes for the sake of it.
I get it. I’ve got a longines chrono and love it. Love the general look but sometimes wish there was just a sweeping second hand permanently. Never really use the chrono function except when I want to see the “second hand” sweeping. Agree with others, there are no rules…
I don’t like them either. I also don’t own any. Just not my style
For the longest time I’ve told myself that I don’t need a chronograph and dial clutter is not what I want; but 2 years into the hobby I got my first speedy and I’m loving it!
Yes, pointless, ugly and hard to read. Hate 'em.....but would love a Speedmaster one day. ( But that's the exception)
