I have a history of buying watches at the very end of the year. My Camy Club-Star came December 31st right before my watchmaker closed his shop for the weekend. Talk about a last-minute purchase.
This is my Christmas present to myself, a Bucherer Chronometer in need of a service. The auction just closed ten minutes ago. I'll post some more about it when it's in my hands and after I've given it some love. It has a ETA calibre 2830 inside, which beats at 28 800 A/h, making it my first high-beat* watch.
I'm waiting on an auction for a '50s Oris to finish from the same seller so that I can save some money by shipping them together. When does that auction end? December 31. How poetic.
*The definition for high-beat is so loose that technically all of my watches are high-beats by some standards.

Extremely underrated…solid movement. Bucherer now owned by Rolex… I have a couple of these 70’s gems.

This one is cool… faceted crystal with a fume dial. They made some decent watches.
