Caveman tendencies

@Catskinner's most recent post inspired this. While he spoke about licking his tasty-looking Nomos, I have slightly different forbidden desires. Does anyone else ever get the urge to just snap a watch in half? I know that I probably won't be able to do it, but...

Don't those wafer-thin vintage dress watches looks so snappable? I imagine them breaking apart with a satisfactory "schcrlack."

Snap in half? No - what’s wrong with you?

I am utterly deranged!

If it's as close to a Daniel Wellington as it looks, it will probably snap in half on its own if you give it some time

I've never handled a superthin watch but I imagine they'd bend like a bottle cap. The temptation to spin a watch on it's crystal like a top is what I must avoid.

That's another great point there, spinning them like a top. Domed acrylic will be most fun.
