The Modfather Part II

Revisiting this build to replace the wonky dial and replace the stock hands. When I finished the initial build on this, I was understandably bummed about clipping the wrong dial feet and wasn't super interested in wearing it.

My partner thought the wonky dial was fun and so she wore it for about 2 months before coming to the decision that the watch was too big to sit on her wrist comfortably.

She gave it back and I determined to fix it so I was excited to wear it! I got a new dial and updated the hands to a pair similar to the original, but with a bit of style. I love that the minute and hour hands taper at the end and the more Breguet style seconds hand is way better than the stock baton style!

Tip for next time: if you clip the wrong dial feet, you can remove all of them and attach the dial to the plastic spacer of the movement with a few squares of double-sided tape like the one used to install bezel inserts. The brass dial is so light that it won't come off. Mistakes happen! ๐Ÿ˜œ
