My grail watch. Bulova Lunar Pilot!

Ran into an acquaintance of mine a yr or so ago and in our conversation I found myself admiring his watch. He showed it to me & told me the background story to it. I was captivated. I thought it was the coolest thing out there & I purchased my own Lunar Pilot except on the strap. It’s been with me cycling, upland hunting, camping, hiking, at my job and on my wrist for the occasional dinner date. It’s a sharp looking watch that wears better than you’d think for a 45mm watch. And IMHO, goes with jeans & a T-shirt as well as a suit & tie.

It’s a fantastic all around watch!

It is an unabashedly upfront tool watch of a Chrono. IMO.

And only one of 2 analog chronos I have. One of these days I might replace the crystal with something shorter, just because I've caught it a couple of times.

They’re pretty rad. I’ve had the polished one without the date for about a year and every time I wear it I remember how much I love it.

I've got one, love it.

Proper cool history, looks superb and they're proper tough!

I wear mine in place of a GShock, it's my regular motorcycle watch & has survived a couple of crashes and runs every bit as precisely as my quartz Omega Aqua Terra.

Great choice mate 👍

I have had one for about 6 months now. Still trying to bond with it although I do enjoy it and it's history. I put mine on a bund strap and the changes the look dramatically gives it that 70's feel.

I confess I have been eyeing the white and blue 43.5 mm pretty hard. 🙂 I wonder if it is the most accurate watch for the money? Not that it in any way affects my interest in it. Probably will pick it up before year end, just hoping to get it at a nice price.

Mine has been extremely accurate. In fact the only time I had to adjust the time was for daylights saving & occasionally the month. I sync it to my iPhone and let me check both right now. Hold on…. It is spot freakin on! I’ve worn mine almost daily for over a year now.
