BALTANY S2002 FIELD STERILE
Fm. Baltany direct. 8 days in transit. Arrived in nice case w/ extra leather strap. NH38 at +4s/d. Very smooth crown unscrewed and winding. Finish is quite nice, generally brushed. NATO is OK, bit short. Lume very good.

I'm old, from SOCAL, Northern Nevada, and now Alabama. I seek variety, quality, and something that piques my interest. I do not invest in watches but strongly admire quality/ $$.

I am on the fence about this. It costs the same as a Seiko 5, but you get Safire. I have the Baltany explorer homage in brown with fauxtina. I adore it. My problem with this is that one cannot easily flip it (unlike a Seiko 5). I feel like I might as well get the Hamilton (if I really like the design, I can spend real money). I need to stop buying inexpensive watches all the time (brands like Baltany make that difficult)
True however these are keepers and not planning to flip them . But I do understand. Remember, you make money on the buy and it's tough to find good watches inexpensively.
