Saved by the band - Ball, part II
I wrote a note about my Ball Trainmaster MSF about a month ago (https://www.watchcrunch.com/Robcollects/posts/saved-by-the-band-32798) . This is a titanium watch which has a nice vintage look to the dial, but was let down by a sharp edged uncomfortable bracelet. It’s also got the less usual 19mm lug width with spring bar holes close to the case. I posted a shot of it on a nice Vario 18mm strap, which you all liked, but the watch needed a 19mm. I found it from the Strap Tailor. Perforated deep navy leather, red accent stitching and curved quick release spring bars make this a great choice. At the Strap Tailor, David and Lisa are very helpful and responsive. The strap is quality made; soft and supple out of the box. Overall a great choice.
So finally a back-of-the-box watch will join my routine rotation!

Straps can make or break a watch experience. One of the reasons for my dislike of the SPB147 was its rubber strap that didn't fit well on my wrist, and switching to a quality leather strap from ColaReb fixed the issue.
I had the same 19mm problem with my Yema Superman and that was also fixed with Erika's Originals MN style straps.
The worse was the Perlon that came with the Lorier Safari that was so bad that it deserved a full post and almost caused me to bin the watch.
The red stitching pulls forward the red on the dial.
