NWA - Tritium and lume time

Just in today my new Traser GMT. This company is part of MB-Microtec, the manufacturer of most all of the tritium gas tubes used in the watch industry. They make a small line of watches. This one has both tritium and lume. The watch itself sends off good basic watch vibes with a brushed stainless steel case, sharp angled bezel and flat crystal. It’s a ‘caller’ GMT, but that will work for me as I’ll be mostly in my office. I’ve got my GS GMT for travel. I’ll try to share some lume shots soon and review after I get to know it a bit better.

Good point, but there are some claims of that on the Web. From A Blog to Watch “The company that is manufacturing these tubes is called MB-Microtec, situated near Bern, Switzerland. They are the only company on the market today that is capable of manufacturing these barely visible glass tubes and filling them with tritium, thanks to their special know-how for working with glass cylinders of this size. Therefore, MB-Microtec is claimed to be the sole supplier to any and all watch brands who use tritium gas tubes for their watches” https://www.ablogtowatch.com/how-glow-dark-tritium-gas-tubes-made-mb-microtec/

Of course you should not trust ‘everything’ on the Internet! 😉 I’ll modify!

Am I willing to die for LUME? 🤔

Probably a bit too big for me, but it's an interesting design. Not to mention that it's always cool to learn about an (arguably) affordable tritium watch brand!

It looks big on the wrist, I think in large part to the sharp edged case. So this looks ok on my 7.125” wrist, but wouldn’t work for everyone.

Rob, I saw your reaction and wanted to let you know, I promise I'm not an on-purpose jerk. Unless trying to get a lume badge makes me one and if so, I'm sorry 😞

FTR I love lume 🤪🙂
