Piaget 908 in white gold, roman numerals

I picked up this charming dress watch a few months ago for rather a bargain, just a tad over what you'd pay for an automatic Tissot PRX, white gold, 908 case (a tank watch essentially), with the awesome 9P movement, ultra thin , but tough as old boots compared to some of the other ultra thins around. Yes, this was a elegant man's watch from the 70's, 30mm lug to lug, only 4.9mm thick shown on my just over 7" wrist. I'm an unashamed lover of older smaller dress watches, although I know many don't hold with that these days.

A really nice watch, and for that price it must be considered a bargain. Another post mention similarities to other well known watches by Piaget. I can’t help getting some Cartier vibes from yours. But that is not a bad thing.

It's extremely close to the true Cartier Tanks (Tank Louis), perhaps not so rounded. There's a lot of brushed/polished facets going on along the edges and sides which aren't really evident in the photo. It's brushed along the top edges of the bezel, but you'll see that the moment the lugs bend down it is very high polished. Very subtle, but clearly part of the overall design.
