I've halved it... SOTC

I've done a lot of rationalising of my collection the past 2 months or so, basically halving it and only keeping hold of watches that I'd be genuinely sad to see go. Watches that have that special X Factor - at least for me. I've trimmed the fat, basically. I'm getting a much better idea for my own personal taste now (after two years or so) and I think the key criteria for me is rugged, go anywhere at anytime, but not overly bohemian, watches I.e. dive watches/field watches/adventure watches. I'm a videographer, so I'd like to be able to grab pretty much any watch for a job I'm working on. Buying my Seiko Alpinist recently helped me confirm my taste. I'm really happy with my collection at the moment. What do you think? P.S. the Panda chrono and gold dress watch are my only real vices for nice occasions 🙂

Nice collection. And congratulations on the rationalisation. I find the culling process cathartic. Ironically, the more I like watches, the fewer I have.

More power to you. I'm not at the point of wanting to get rid of watches because my collection is to large. But I do worry that when it happens I won't be able too. Nicely done and well curated. Congrats.
