I didn’t say a thing about buying it. I’m just curious what the hive-mind thinks of the new color ways. This is a watch discussion forum. Polls are a great way to spark a discussion.

A few week ago I did a poll asking which of 4 straps people liked because I was having a hard time deciding. Someone suggested a fifth option I hadn’t even considered. I ended up going with their suggestion. It wasn’t a color I would normally buy and I absolutely love it.

I’m on the fence about this one. I like the strap but I’m not sure if the white stripes clash with the beige lume on the watch.

Edit: Just to be clear this is a second gen 300 heritage on one of the 75th Anniversary straps.

Prefer my previous model as it's much closer to the original, this latest heritage SM300 looks like a Panerai crossed with a generic skindiver. 🤔

Funny, It’s the opposite for me. I think they missed the mark on the first one. The ‘57 nailed it as a Modern Reinterpretation but the first gen 300 Heritage is just off aesthetically. The dial is too small, it’s cluttered up with text and lacks depth. The bezel is ceramic. The case is thicker..…

If I wanted “more original” I’d pick the 1957. If I was looking for a versatile modern “daily diver” that relied heavily historical design cues I’d go lollipop.

I just don’t get what they were going for with that in between model.
