A question for Bay Area/Sac Crunchers…

I’m looking for a watch dealer that has a good selection of new and second hand watches. I’m in the early stages of shopping for a new watch and would like to try some things on (specifically a 39mm explorer and 16570 E2). Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Also, is it true that the Omega Boutique in Roseville has closed? What’s up with that?!

I hear good things about Toppers in Burlingame. The last WC meetup was hosted there. There’s also an upcoming one in the San Jose area.

Thanks for the tip! I'm up in the FAR North Bay so SJ is like a days drive lol but the next time I'm in or out of SFO I'll check out Toppers.

I feel your pain. Traffic is stupid in the Bay Area.

It's better here than the I95 corridor. I spent the better part of the summer visiting family in the mid-Atlantic states and traffic out there is a different kind of special. So much worse than when I lived there 🤯.

In so many ways it’s better here 🤣

Check out @Rome1234 post. The Bay Araea is having another one Sept 7. I'm trying to get there but I'm coming up from Santa Cruz. It's a long ass drive for me too. The last one at Toppers was really fun. The bay area Crunchers that showed up were all class.

Toppers is a cool place with better people. They have a 15-20 brands and they have used watches on thier website that you can see and buy in store.

Sorry, SJ is a 7 hour round trip for me. I just don't have the time, especially mid week. I will definitely check out Toppers next time i'm on the peninsula.

Topper on Burlingame Avenue is the place to go. Great selection of brands and price points. They sell second hand watches as well.

If you want to check Rolex as well, then Kerns is one block away from Topper. For Kerns you have to book a time.

Does anyone know of a decent spot in the Sacramento Area?

Does anyone know of a decent spot in the Sacramento Area?

Sacramento is outside my knowledge area but if you're willing to travel down to San Francisco, HQ Milton is quite good for Rolex, used and vintage.

Davidson Licht in Walnut Creek is also decent and is located in a pretty populated road for watch stores.

Both are a bit more palatable than the trip all the way to South Bay.
