Some reviewers comment on how the lume on re-editions of historic watches isn’t that strong. I actually think its a good thing. My Zenith elprimero original would look weird if it had heaps of lume slapped on. Shows the manufacturer is trying to create a re-edition that resembles, as closely as possible, the original. What do you think ?

We really should not be buying watches purely based on the amount of lume, but I fear that memo was issued a long time ago on the old system and we cannot recall it. You certainly don’t buy a vintage watch for the lume, unless you are into radiation.
