Volunteers make such a difference

Volunteers at the cancer unit do such a great job as do all the medical and support staff. Here’s an example of the work a volunteer has done to cheer up patients going through a tough time, in the lead up to Christmas. The time I’ve spent supporting my elderly parents through their medical treatments is emotional at times, but rewarding. Even more reason to enjoy what we do, the family and friends around us, things that give us joy, but to not lose perspective on what really matters. Feeling grateful ❤️
