Today, I received the battery needed for this Swiss Tissot pocket watch. I initially purchased it for myself. I didn’t handle it much. Strangely, my wife likes it more than all my wrisrtwatches. Naturally, I gave it to her.
Eww. Look at that narly, cheap, huge plastic movement holder. Movement: ETA Caliber F06.111. Three (3) jewels. EOL indicator. Seconds, minutes, and hour. Date complication. Quick-set date.

Additional info: all stainless steel (unlike cheap base metal pocket watches). Hesalite cystal. These can be had new for around $300. Tissot also has a mechanical pocket watch for sale, but at a much higher price.

I have a few pocket watches, all of which are well over a century old, and still working and keeping time well. That Tissot looks reminiscent of the silver Waltham, which, based on the serial number, was made in 1899.
