Happy Birthday E Gluck!

On this day in Romania 1927, Eugen Gluck was born. He would go on to survive the Holocaust and immigrate to the United States in '48, where he would later found the E. Gluck Corp. in '56. Here he would begin making watches under the Armitron name. My Armitron watches are some of my oldest and most reliable in my collection. Much love and appreciation for this American businessman and his contributions to the watch industry! Here are my Armitrons, feel free to share some of yours.

I only have one, but it’s a nice little watch.

Happy birthday indeed; especially to anyone that escaped that horror & still was able to start a watch business.

Here's my only current Armie, as I call it.

Sweet Armie dude 😎 I have that one in green and black, it's one of my oldest watches.

Honestly between the specs, material, and price I don't know why people bother with Casio. The Rubik @gbelleh mentioned and the Griffy would make a pretty bombin two watch affordable digi collection.

Sweet Rubik dude! I was between that and the Rogue but went with the latter.
