Picked up this clunker from eBay for about £4 or so. The click spring needed replacing and typical of Timex it was a fiddly thing.
It didn't run well but after a session in the ultrasonic it was even ticking under water!
Cleaned the crystal while listening to the cricket 🏏.

It's like the designers kept taking away a part and see if it still works. When it doesn't, they put that last part back and call it done.

Yeah the dial was in good shape (and I love the colour) so a good half hour with the Polywatch made all the difference.
