Considering this Certina? Thoughts?

So this DS Rookie is online incredibly cheap and I have never owned a Certina.

Mid range Swatch brand that doesn’t get much love here in the US. 

Anyone owned this or other Certina watches and what is your assessment?

These are underappreciated in the US and a Certina is on my list of potential purchases. Good specs, good value. 

That particular one feels off to me with all the white at the top. 

This is more what I'm looking at.

That’s certainly a beautiful watch you are eyeing. The one I’ve noted is a little off the wall and Swatchy with the design and colors. I think the $138 price is speaking to me as much as the watch itself.

I have 2 Certinas, DS Action chronometer and DS Blue Ribbon. They are robust with nice styling details and they exude quality. I don't know that particular watch but I recommend the brand very highly.

I bought my first watch 4 months ago and its a red aluminium case Certina DS Podium. Really sporty, maybe even a bit too much for my taste but i don't regret it one second.  Anyway, being a new collector and all, my experience is limited. I have since bought 3 more watches in a similar price range and the Certina is the best quality and hands down the best bracelet i have (rubber).

Thx for the reply. I didn’t buy this one after all as the more I looked at I wasn’t sold on the design. I certainly was sold on the price and features. 
I will certainly add a Certina to my collection at some point. 
Here in the US they just don’t have much of a following. Possibly Swatch Group purposely decided to really only market the brand to Europe.
