SOTC - NOV 2022

Hi all. Here is a look at my too-small Watch Box. From Top Left to Bottom Right:

  1. Casio G-Shock
  2. Sinn EZM 13 Mk 1
  3. Tudor Black Bay Blue Heritage 41mm
  4. Grand Seiko SBGA415 Winter
  5. Grand Seiko SBGJ251 Spring
  6. Christopher Ward C65 Super Compressor Blue
  7. Christopher Ward C20 2009 Forum LE
  8. Christopher Ward C63 Sealander 36mm Yellow
  9. A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Annual Calendar
  10. Omega Speedmaster Racing Yellow
  11. Bremont Solo White 43mm
  12. Sinn 103A SAB LE
  13. Towson Watch Company C20 Chronograph
  14. Christopher Ward C70 Cunningham Stripe

I hear that WC will add some sort of SOTC feature soon but until then, some brief thoughts:

  • Fourteen is too many. I’d like to get down to 12 or 10.
  • Too many white dials. I’d like to get some more color.
  • I want to swap out some of the bigger dials for some sub-40mm ones.
  • My next likely targets (at least today): H. Moser & Cie Center Seconds Heritage; Zenith Chronomaster; some kind of traditional pilot’s watch

Lots of yummy stuff in there, love it!

My first thought was that you're doing it right when the watches overflow the case, so I assume you'll get a smaller case should you go down to 10-12 watches.  Also, that's a really nice collection.

Thanks very much!  I definitely need another watch box, probably one of slightly better quality.  I like the idea of going smaller to compel me to downsize even more aggressively, except it would probably just drive me even more nutty.
