Does anyone know anything about Jubilee watches?

Like the title says, I'm looking for information on Jubilee watches. From what I found so far, it was made or imported by Longines-Wittnauer... And that's it. I can't find a model reference number. I can't find any details at all really. I received it from the original owner who bought it new in the mid 70s. There's no paperwork, no box to speak of. I know it's not worth much but the watch itself is very interesting.

Unfortunately, it is not in good running order. It doesn't keep the time and there are a few screws missing from the movement. They're in a little zip-lock bag on a shelf. From what the original owner said, it has always been problematic. ☹

Jubilee was a bargain brand of Wittnauer or Longines-Wittnauer. They often used Citizen movements. If it doesn't say that it is Swiss it is likely a Citizen. If it is Swiss then it could be any number of movements, not necessarily associated with Longines. Interestingly, it doesn't appear that Longines-Wittnauer was a real collaboration, more like a distribution partnership. Wittnauer and Longines never fell under the same ownership as best we can tell. By the end Jubilee was entirely Citizen, as was Wittnauer (after it was bought by Bulova and Bulova was bought by Citizen).

Interesting, thank you for your reply. I haven't seen any Swiss markings anywhere on it. The case back simply says stainless steel. I did get some numbers off of the movement a while ago but Google had no idea what they referred to.

It's unfortunate that the watch isn't worth the price to fix it. But I will keep it in the collection.
