Hand-Engraved Vintage Russian Molnija Marriage Watch
This year is the Year of the (wood) Dragon and I wanted a watch to commemorate it, since I am a Wood Dragon in the Chinese zodiac and will never see this particular year cycle again in my lifetime. I wanted something subtle and not so in-your-face like other dragon watches I've seen pop up this year, and found this one on Etsy from the Ukraine.
It has a vintage 18-jewel Molnija movement and is hand-engraved by the watchmaker who serviced it. It is much easier to read at a glance than the picture suggests, since the hands are black.
This is my second marriage watch from the Ukraine and like the other one, the quality and craftsmanship is fantastic.
I'll definitely be taking this on my upcoming cruise!

Yeah, that dial is crazy, but it really is easy to read at a glance, trust me, my aging eyes require good contrast. 👀
