Experiences with the Longines 42mm legend diver?
This watch has been a recent obsession of mine. It fits the aesthetic I like - vintage vibes and high legibility at a glance. 42mm is fine as my wrist is 7.5in.
Looking for the thoughts and experiences of those who have owned this watch. Looking to pick one up pre-owned in the next few months after selling some of the watches I don’t wear anymore.

I am a big fan of this watch and would love to own one. The 42 is far too big for my 6.5 inch wrist but the 36mm version fits it just fine. I definitely hope to welcome it into my collection one day. Until then, I will have to live vicariously through you. I hope you end up getting one!
If you have tried it on and you like the fit then good. Or else I recommend you go try on the watch in person before you decide.
I have been going back and forth on the 42mm bronze variant. I have tried the watch on a few times and didn't really like the way the watch feels on the wrist and for context my wrist is 7.8in (20cm). The long slim lugs and slim case make the watch sit very flat on the wrist which makes the lugs stick out and gives you the overhanging look which I personally don't prefer. The improved 39mm variant is on the cards and that may be a better buy if you are looking into the Legend Diver.
