A work in progress

Working on another of my neighbor’s watches. This one is a bit more challenging. I need a crown stem for a quartz movement. It looks like it would be easier to get a whole new movement. Looking into options.

It’s a Bulova 2872A with a date at 3:00 and I can’t seem to find this anywhere. Esslinger’s site says I should be able to switch this out with another similar movement by miyota. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it. Either way, I’m enjoying this new part of the hobby

Are you sure you got the movement right? I think you got an ETA 2872 inside there. Just google for a replacement stem for it. I am 99% sure it's what you need.

This is the movement. It would be great but I could do what you mentioned. Just a stem would be awesome!

That's Miyota 2115. Just buy the whole movement, it cost 5 euro and you will probably need it at some point.
