Cleaned up my neighbors watch today
My neighbor was brave enough to give me two of his watches to work on. This is the easier of the two. I removed the bracelet and put it in the sonic cleaner, hand cleaned the nooks and crannies of the case, changed the battery, and lightly polished out the micro scratches.
He said he had worn a fitness band for years and wanted to get back to wearing his watches. I’m happy to help him get his watches back in rotation.

It’s weird, I’m happy to share the hobby and my enthusiasm about it. My friends aren’t about it so much, but I do catch them checking what I’m wearing fairly often. Wish I had more local people to share the hobby with. Maybe I’ll attend the NYC Wind Up when it comes around again
