The chronograph sample is messing this up for me.
IMHO, society lost its collective fashion mind in the ‘70s. I mean, it was the era of the avocado green fridge, for crying out loud! There’s no question on this one.

I do 100 % agree. I was born in the mid sixties an do remember how ugly the 70s were, but to each their own 😉
So anyway, despite my disdain for chronographs, midcentury is aesthetically where it is at for most things.
