Great version of the Airman. Purist is the way to go.
I've been a Glycine fan since well before 2016 when Invicta purchased the Co. and see no noticeable difference in quality. Based on where Glycine was at the time I think the Invicta purchase was a Godsend for Glycine and if not for Invicta they wouldn't be here today. The only problem is the warranty service provided by Invicta but I've never had a problem in 20 years.

My main issue with Invicta is the bad reputation it has. At least from my experience and what I have heard from other, it has never being a good one with those watches or brand. Perhaps if someone else would’ve bought Glycie I would feel better about it. Of course it sucks that Glycine was in such a bad situation to get to this point. They are wonderful time pieces. But it is what it is.

Agreed. Invicta is a company built on lies and terrible CS , not to mention some of the most Godawful designs known to man going back many years. It's somewhat of a miracle that they haven't destroyed Glycine, but it's going on 8 years now and Glycine has only gotten better.
