From one generation to the next
About 40 years ago my father gave me this Gucci 3000M watch for my coming of age. Looking back, this could have kick started my love of Swiss watches which then developed into a broader interest of watch collecting.
I am about to pass this on to my son for his coming of age. This watch bears very little monetary value, but the sentimental one is significant. I hope he will take good care of it and carry this forward as part of the family heirloom in the future.

25 of those 30. So happy to have it now. I should wear it more often!!
My grandparents gave me this watch when I was 9 (they must have really loved me). I wore it every day for almost 30 years. It sat in a drawer for another 15 years. Then I had it restored about 5 years ago. After I wore it for a few more years I fell into this hobby. Still love it and would never part with it.
