I started getting into watches my junior year of college. I was in my first internship and I noticed everyone at the office wore watches and I wanted to get one as well to make myself look “official”. For my first watch I got myself a tiny Swatch sr626sw. I wore it everyday and I quickly caught the watch bug. A watch for me was no longer about looking like I belonged somewhere, but about how they made me feel and the stories behind them.
I graduated college in 2019 and started making enough money to start getting more watches for myself. I work from home now and I still find myself wearing watches in my apartment, even though I don’t go into the office much throughout the year. I feel so happy to own the pieces that I do. I think at this point where I want to get a few prices from more historic brands such as Omega, Longines, or Cartier.
Other than brands are there any watch types that you think I should add to my collection? I would love to add a dress watch and a GMT at some point. Thanks for reading and I hope you all enjoy the rest of your week! 😊

Thanks!! The Lorier is definitely one of my favorites and for sure gets me the most compliments.
Fantastic collection and approach! I like that you have a nice variety of shapes and colors. Within the brands you're considering: I'd look at Longines for the GMT and Cartier for the dress watch.

Thank you! I couldn’t agree with you more. The Hydro conquest and Zulu time from Longines are gorgeous!

Sweet collection. I'm around the same number and want more. Lol
Fantastic collection! 🍻🔥
Great collection, you could add a gmt or small seconds complications but don't feel the need to add things for the sake of it, just carry on doing what you are doing.
Nice variation!!

I feel like I have to stay around 12 watches. I will definitely be selling the ones I don’t wear much to make room for new ones.

Thank you!!

Will do! A GMT will probably be my next purchase.

I have slightly more 15 because I store 3 in my travel watch roll. Not where nice as your collection.

Thanks man. I haven't put too much of my salary into this hobby but I'll have some luxury pieces when it makes sense for me to get one.
That Brew though ❤️❤️❤️

My first casioak will be here next week from Japan!! I'm stoked!! I love your collection. I hope to have such a nice one some day. Maybe after I get my casioak I'll post a SOTC..
Lovely collection. I’d check out Christopher Ward, it has some colourful and beautifully finished watches that could fit in your collection. Although maybe a little more expensive, they represent amazing bang for buck. Online only.
