On the hunt for a ladies watch for around €1000
A friend recently asked me with some help choosing a watch. Since ladies watches are not really in my wheelhouse I thought I'd ask here.
She is looking for a yellow gold tone watch and would feel comfortable with wearing something up to about €1000. The watch would be as a present from her parents so she'd like to go to a physical store to try it on and make a purchase.
She looked at some watches in a store and quite liked this Balmain Haute Elegance though she's not a fan of the green.
Any watches I should show her that fit her criteria?

It may run you a bit over $1000 to get one of these in nice condition but if you stalk eBay I’m sure you could snag a deal.
How about a Tissot PRX, 35mm, at around 900€? Not exactly the style you are looking for but it is solid choice and she could try it in a store
Go for Traska 34mm. Good movement, damn tough watch and very confortable bracelets.

I have similar search requirements at the moment. You can also check Hamilton collections. I am also considering basic Nomos models that are starting around 1200-1300€ new

She won’t be able to try it on in person, but I’d recommend the Cartier Tank Vendome. Exactly the same case shape as she Balmain, but way better.
That Balmain is beautiful though: green and gold for ever!
