New Casio watches with short battery life

One of the reason I will not buy one of the latest Casio's is their dependence on being charged daily if not weekly. What is a "Rangeman" that needs to be charged weekly, its not going far into the range is it. The solar charging is insufficient for these energy pigs. I love the MIP displays, but it is time for Casio to offer watches with these displays without trying to be a smart watch or fitness tracker for all of us whom do not care. I already have a smartphone and am fit. Wake up Casio ! You lost the smart watch race and the fitness watch race as well. Get back to the G-Shocks having Multiband 6, Tough Solar, and for upgrades a MIP display and dare I say it, a sapphire crystal. Do not make it in some heaven forsaken communist country and then I will buy one. Even if it looks like some spaceship from Star Wars.

I'm behind you with a Non- smart watch with MIP display, but not Sapphire crystal. Less Shock resistant than mineral crystal, which isn't good in a G-Shock.

Agree with the MIP display. But I don't need multiband 6 or Bluetooth. Just tough solar and all will be well in the world 😂

Different product for a different customer, or at least different use case, I think. I'm not into their smarter watches. I like solar and MB6, but I don't want Bluetooth. I'm fine with sapphire or mineral, prefer sapphire if it's an expensive model. I don't expect to be swinging my wrist full strength into an exposed bolt or something to shatter either crystal, and I'm very likely to brush it against said bolt or whatever else and scratch mineral. Don't much care where it's made if it's made well. I get that they want to be in the smart watch market, but I don't see anything wrong with their positive LCDs and good battery life that a different screen and poor battery life would fix. I'm not concerned unless they start really going away from non-smart models going forward.

I've got a fitness tracking ring, got that to replace my smartwatch. Not going to buy a G-Shock to track all my stuff that I have to wear daily, nope nope nope.
