I inherited a watch from my grandmother and wanted something I could wear without being afraid of breaking.
Around the same time, I walked past a watch shop and just stopped to look at a watch on display. I don't remember what it was anymore but it definitely also started my interest.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
The Maurice Lacroix (Quarts) Ladies Eliros Date, Valentine's Day Version was my first watch when I got an interest in watches.
Before that, I remember having a Swatch with an orange (slap on?) band.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
I was actually trying to get an automatic watch with a yellow gold aesthetic and a brown leather strap (and no diamonds!) as my first serious watch. Somehow ended up with a Quarts burgundy watch with diamond indicies. I just put it on and fell in love. Never regretted it.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Longines. They have a lot of great designs and more unisex sizes.
