Aftermarket, is it cheating ??

Ok . So I'm a massive Seiko whore and while they are on the affordable scale , is it cheating to build my own with aftermarket parts from Namokies and other modding part sites and still class them in the same light as the genuine ??

If it's something you enjoy and other people admire them then there's no issue to me. It's not like it's a franken watch just modded
