New 38 mm Orient Bambino

What are you thoughts on the new limited edition bambino? I had a 40 mm bambino but it looked too big to me so I gifted it. I so far like this salmon idial but will shall see. Affordable too

I found the 40mm too big as well. I'm not too bothered about limited editions but I would love to see the full range in 38mm or even 36mm.

I wasn't into the limited editions either. I wanted a 38 mm then I saw the LEs and with a discount, the prices were very similar so why not

nice strap combo!

Yeah, unfortunately 40mm would look big without a dive or tachymeter bezel.

I don't care for LE's, but the new 38mm Bambinos are the best.

No, I literally don't care. I should have said "don't care about", didn't I?

I will like or dislike a watch no matter its availability. Last year I bought a Baby-G Honey, because it's my girlfriend's favourite colour. It was a LE, so I wasted no time, but now, a full year later, they're still available. But I would have bought it anyway. On the other hand, Seiko keep eleasing new models, see what's popular and without warning axe the rest. AND they make plenty of LE's in thousands-strong numbers. I love the designs, but the business practices are unpleasant. If only they chose to pick the coolest stuff and make it available for a long time...

I understand that brands now and then want to do something cool and niche and not lose money to overproduction. And hunting limited editions only to own something "special" is downright foolish.

Ok.i see what you are saying, i don't care if these were LEs or not and I certainly wouldn't over pay for an LE! I just think at $280 this looks great and better than previous bambinos

My sentiments exactly. The old Bambinos now look a bit off compared to this. Price increase sort of justified. I just hope it won't climb any higher.

Love the light brown and light grey one. The salmon looks okayish. The light blue looks a bit meh. Hate the straps on these, makes the whole watch look bad. But find the overall collection a bit uninspiring. They should have done something more with the markers and hands.

I like all of these, nice combo

I keep meaning to get one of these but in quartz. I'm not sure if the quartz ones are actually real or fake though judging by the prices on eBay.

Hello folks, I am now obsessed with this new bambino. I swapped the stock strap for this milanese strap and I think this now the perfect value dress watch. Tell me this watch looks like $350. Probably one of my top 3 in my collection
