What a surprise! I can’t stop wearing this watch!
So, I had a conversation with my friend who collect watches as well and he mentioned how Oris makes far better quality watches at the same price as that from a Swatch group. I was hesitant to agree because at that point I had a Longines HC which, as we all know, is a big jump up from the likes of Mido, Tissot and Hamilton. One could say it rivals the quality of Omega even. Fast forward a year, I decided to pull the trigger on this Pointer Date I have my eyes on for a while. I am stunned by the quality to price ratio on this one! The polishing, the dial, the detail work and especially that bracelet is stunning! I can’t stop wearing it. It is easily my top three favorite watches in my collection at the moment. Share your Oris Big crown wrist shot below to spread love for this model (not that it needs any more 😉)

Killer piece mate. Love the dial colour. I am also considering pulling the trigger on a big crown pointer but yet to fall over the line. Narrowing down to a specific model is my problem. I like the bronze but also the dial colours on some of the steel. God I hate this obsession of watch collecting.

Huge fan of what Oris is doing and loved my time when I owned a big crown pointer date for about a year. Eventually would up selling it as at 40m it's a lot of dial for my wrist. But for most it's a perfect fit. Now that they have a few options in the 38mm size ... may have to reconsider another in the future. I've tried on the dark blue in 38 with the flat bezel and it fits soooo well.

I don’t recall seeing a bracelet option. May be after market options but it isn’t anything I’ve ever looked into.
