That sounds cozy and amusing at the same time 👏
Enjoy your weekend 🍻
Thank you, Kostas! Yes, it's a semi-primitive instrument called an Appalachian Mountain banjo. I haven't picked it up in a while, but was recently talking to @Yonder about it, and have been anxious to give it a strum again. Have a great weekend, as well!

Glad your finding the time on your holiday to get together with your banjos again Lawrence. If I remember correctly.. the Appalachian is the one you built with your dad. What style does your daughter prefer.. Clawhammer or Scruggs?

Thanks, John. I really need to try and spread my love out across my hobbies again. I feel like watches have completely absorbed my free time these past few years: looking at them, reading and researching about them, watching videos about them, modding them, etc. I know you have been feeling it, as well.
Since I haven't attempted to play Scruggs style in many years, I'd have to say the kids are forced to prefer clawhammer, or nothing at all. 😜 I'd like to eventually explore some other old timey styles, as well.

Simple and Solid Lawrence. Nice.
Simple and Solid Lawrence. Nice.
Thanks, Tony!
Simple and solid is always reliable when all else fails. At least that's what my wife has told me for 34 years 🤣😂. Have a good one Lawrence.

I love the look of that little watch and I wish I could do some picking. I’m not that talented!

I'm not either. 🤣 Doesn't stop me, though.
