Thanks, Kostas. Honestly, I'm not sure of the age. I picked it up over the summer, but I don't know the history of it. If you plug the serial number and movement into the Seiko decoder, it brings back results of 1980, 90, 00, 10. (I'm not sure if the Seiko decoder actually works for its subsidiaries.) If I had to guess, I would say maybe 1990, because of its condition. Possibly 1980.

It definitely has that vibe. Being that it's a quartz (and supposedly was made in a year ending in zero), I'm leaning a little later. If I could find out more about the production years of the Y563A movement, I could narrow it down. That is, if Alba follows the Seiko convention where the first two characters of the serial number are the year & month. If not, it's anyone's guess.

Yep, depends on the movement. My Seiko DX 6106C-8240 is definitely May 1970.
That is definitely a beauty! The linen dial, the separate full day display, the crosshair. 🤌😍 No doubt about it being 1970, with a 6106 and PROOF caseback. 👌 Nice find!

Classy Alba 👌
Which year is it from if I may ask?
Lovely watch.. I remember we had a conversation about Gaelic a while back.. did you know Alba is the Scots Gaelic name for Scotland? 🤓
