I never set the date or day on any of my watches, partly because I don't know how to do that on some models (think G-Shock Casioak). With others, I just don't bother. Does this make me a lazy old slob?

Nah, to each their own. Personally though, I'm getting anxiety just thinking of wearing something without all the complications properly set. ;)

"Lazy slob" is normally OK, except when I look in the mirror. In matters of ageing, the mirror never lies.
