Recommendations
Hi, this is quite an area specific post - Glasgow to be specific. I am looking to buy a Tudor Pelagos FXD in December (long story behind the specifics), but I live in the Cotswolds so will be flying up to collect it. Have any of you had experience with Tudor retailers in Glasgow and if so who would you recommend - I have a very specific reason for this odd pilgrimage but need an AD who will work with me on it.....

I have bought a number of watches from Chisholm Hunter in the Silverburn Shopping Centre in Glasgow. George, a young guy that works there has been very good to me & they're a Tudor stockist.
He put my name down for the monochrome BB58 last week & promised me I'd be the first to get a call when they have one. Really nice guy, in fact all fo their staff there can't do enough for you. I'd recommend that store over the actual Tudor store in Buchanan Street. Their store is full of young girls that were clueless when I did go into it.

Good to know - I was initially leaning to the Tudor boutique. Silverburn looks to be quite a way out of the centre of town..... Will look into it more as won't have a car with me and on a timescale as I have to fly in and fly home the same day....

Not having a car does make it problematic although it isn't any more expensive by taxi were you going from the airport to Silverburn as opposed to the centre of Glasgow.

Thanks - I need to look into transport options nearer the time I guess. Need to make a couple of other stops while I'm there so may need to hire a car when I get to the airport...... thanks for the intel!

There is a Chisholm Hunter in Buchanan Street as well, so you'd be better heading into Glasgow town centre. The Tudor store is on the opposite side of the street about 50 yards away. They'll be charging the same price for whatever you're looking for so I supposed it's down to whether the stores have what you want.
Chisholm Hunter will get you your Tudor from one of their many stores if the Buchanan Street shop doesn't have it. If you phone them in advance I'm sure they'll be able to get one in for you when you are due to be in Glasgow.
That is, unless you're looking for the pink chronograph, there's only 6 coming into the whole of the UK in the first batch.

Yeah, not after the pink one....! I will contact them at the Buchanan Street branch once I have all my ducks lined up and hopefully they can sort me out on the day..... thanks for your help.👍
