Douglas / Wolbrook
Possibly interested in the skindiver but not sure if they’re a good purchase, or what the differences are between the Douglas and the Wolbrook? Anyone with any experience of them?

I've owned a #wolbrook Skindiver with the VH31 #mecaquartz movement for about two months now and have been quite impressed with the watch. It's certainly a piece that is unlike any another in my collection.
The case, hands, dial and strap are all well made and keeps impeccable time.
I normally wear it on casual occasions and it's comfortable on the wrist. I can't speak to how it would wear with a metal bracelet though.
For the money (the $175 USD including tracked shipping from France), you're getting a very interesting watch.
The Douglas name is what some Wolbrooks were sold as in the past. Apparently one of the famous U.S. astronauts wore one (but not in space).
