Brew import taxes in the UK
My only experience buying from a micro-brand is Christopher Ward (maybe they are past that now) and they are based here in the UK so shipping was simple.
Does anyone have experience buying from Brew or other foreign micro-brands in the UK? If so did you have to pay import taxes on top of shipping or is it all included?

For any watches imported (no matter what the price) you're liable to pay 20% VAT on the cost of the item and the cost of postage. You'll probably have to pay an admin fee to the courier too, usually £20-30. There's no extra duty to pay.
Brew won't charge you this at purchase. Each courier handles this in a different way.
You might be invoiced before delivery and they'll hold the goods until payment; they invoice upfront but still deliver and you pay whenever; they deliver and the invoice comes afterwards; it's delivered and no invoice arrives. In the last instance give it about 3 weeks until you start to celebrate getting away with it.

I brought a Brew metric couple of months ago and got stung by an £85 fedex fee which I wasn’t best pleased with, but I love the watch.

I'm just glad it came to my attention before I bought rather than as a suprise
Not sure about #brew but other micro brands I have purchased from abroad e.g. #stratonwatchco have had taxes on top. UK based e.g. #sherwood #geckota #cestrian etc is included, as a UK buyer.
