๐คฉ Can't get enough of the beautiful patina on my bronze watch case! ๐ The gradual transformation from shiny to a rich, warm hue is like witnessing the passage of time right on my wrist. Each scratch and mark tells a story, reminding me of the adventures and memories we've shared together. It's the perfect blend of ruggedness and sophistication, making my watch truly one of a kind.
Especially because I built it my self by hand selecting parts and putting them together!

Thanks brother!
Looks great! Remember to rotate the bezel and screw/unscrew the crown regularly!
Beautiful. I was just going down that route myself, ie piecing together parts for construction. Very encouraging to see a nice aged example. Did you advance the patina with a particular treatment? Else how long ago did you build this?
Looks good, I need to get me a bronze watch!

Thanks for the reminder brother
I always play with the bezel and I hand wind the watch when I pick it up in rotation to make sure Iโm moving the bronze parts.
Cheers ๐ฅ

Completes the build June 5, 2022
I let it naturally she just by wearing it I got this patina so I wouldnโt rush it just let it do it thing is my advise and enjoy watching the transition you know wha I mean?
I had tons of fun putting it together though I remember the hands where more difficult then usual to get on but it was worth it.
Keep me in the loop when you build yours take picture before with the parts spread out and after and send them to me!
Good luck ๐๐พ

I've just orderred a bronze Tandorio Fleiger with a PT5000 I'm looking forward to watching it change. Yours is looking great - I wonder what will happen next?
I feel the same way very often on getting another watch. But I have also felt one bronze watch was more then enough for now.
Custom hands are fire ๐ฅ cathedral hand gang gang!
Yea that is really silly they didnโt include a bronze buckle. Thankfully mine did and I just transferred it to a strap I liked more. But honestly even if you left it no one would notice but I get it. I would know and that would be more the enough for me to go on a hunt.
Pictures look good but I bet the sun burst effect is even more dramatic in person
And yea silver hands? Na good move to change them.
I thought the case back is referring all stainless pertaining to just the case back to indicate you donโt have to worry about the bronze stain on your wrist.
Ohh and I love when the seconds hand goes all the way to the end of the dial. Idk I just feel itโs a very cool look.
Lume is on fleek glowing crazy like a night light.
Youโve done a stellar job here!
Your Watch maker so you probably noticed I destroyed the hands putting them on ๐คฃI used metal tweezers to hold them after getting frustrated with rodico
Lesson learned.
Cheers ๐ฅ brother
I was millimetres close to getting a bronze San Martin flieger. I really like bronze cases, the hue, the saturation, just amazing. Your looks fire, very, very tasteful.
brown is cool but green is just nasty and thats next. That alloy has an affinity to attract sulfur which is green and will stain your skin too.

I donโt mind the green stains that may come.
I donโt think I will get a stain on my skin because the back is stainless but if it does start staining me I might consider doing a bronze refresher. Or maybe I will like the green. Guess Iโm nasty ๐คฃ

What changed after coming so close to pulling the trigger on the bronze SM?
Thank you so much man
Means a lot.
I put my heart into it.
Iโll tell you a secret ..
I was inspired by the seiko Sarb017 but I missed the boat back when it was a reasonable price. At the same time I wanted bronze watch plus I was practicing modifying SOโฆI combined all three factors and taaadaaa!
Thank you for your reply!
I look forward from hearing from you in future post!
